what to expect

EXPECT A WARM WELCOME.

We welcome all visitors and would love the opportunity to meet you. We are a family that is always looking to welcome new faces into our congregation. You can expect to shake a lot of hands, get some hugs, and meet a lot of new people when you visit us!

EXPECT TO BE ACCEPTED IN CASUAL CLOTHES.

Do I dress casual?  Like I’m going to work?  Like I’m relaxing with friends?  Like I am going out for dinner?  Well, the easy answer is, “Yes!”  When you arrive at Real Life, you’ll find some business casual, some “Sunday Best,” and some dress casual.  We aren't as concerned with what you are wearing when you join us… Our focus is to be drawn into worship with the Lord, and learn in His Word together.

EXPECT AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE CHILDREN AND ADULTS WILL BE ABLE TO CONNECT WITH JESUS.

We have a great nursery and children’s church that is staffed by safe, trained,  caring and creative people.  If you do not want to have your children go to the nursery or children's church service, that’s alright too. We just ask that they do not disrupt the service. It is our desire to offer an opportunity for the children, as well as the adults to connect with Jesus in a meaningful, personal way.

EXPECT TO WORSHIP AND PRAISE GOD  THROUGH MUSIC THAT TURNS OUR HEARTS TOWARD GOD.

We believe God is worthy of all praise, reverence and love. We do this by taking special time to worship Him in church through song. You will encounter a balanced worship team, who leads the body to glorify, honor, praise, exalt, and please God.

EXPECT TO HEAR THE BIBLE TAUGHT IN A WAY THAT WE CAN UNDERSTAND AND APPLY TO OUR DAILY LIVES.

We believe that the bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, and is relevant and applicable to man today. We believe the greatest way to get to know God is through prayer and through His Word; we therefore give great emphasis to expository teaching through each book of the Bible - book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse.  This is what the Apostle Paul called declaring "the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27) Expect God to change your life.
